Playful Pinwheels Crochet Baby Blanket PATTERN (English only)
The Playful Pinwheels Crochet Baby Blanket is an instant PDF download for a crochet blanket PATTERN (NOT the blanket itself!).
The pattern is written in English and uses US terms.
Due to the nature of digital products I do not offer refunds on patterns. All sales are final.
This pattern is the copyright of Stacy Narrin and no part of it (written or photographs) may be copied or sold. However, you may sell the finished blanket you've made from the pattern as well as share pictures of YOUR blanket to social media. I just ask that you please give me credit for the pattern.
If you're looking to make an heirloom worthy blanket for the newest little baby in your life, this pattern definitely falls within that category. The whimsical pinwheels are a perfect reflection of carefree childhood days, and the simple single crochet stitching creates a lovely, solid fabric preventing tiny fingers from getting caught in any holes. The blanket is made as one solid piece by using the tapestry crochet technique (Don't be scared, it's not as difficult as it might sound!), so no joining squares and not a whole lot of weaving in ends. I include a link for a full step by step video tutorial where I show you exactly how to do this. A color graph is included in the pattern as well for a quick visual reference to help you keep track of the color changes.
The pattern is for one size only, but I include the stitch multiple so that if you want to adjust for a different size you can do that.
Materials info:
*size H (5.0mm) hook, and size J (6.0mm) hook
*Hobby Lobby's Yarn Bee Soft Secret yarn in Taupe (2 skeins), Ivory (3 skeins), and Sage (1 skein)
This yarn is classified as 4/medium weight yarn, but is the thinner side of that weight. So if you're substituting a different yarn keep that in mind. I've used Caron Simply Soft or Lion Brand Pound of Love and gotten similar results.
Finished blanket measures about 30" x 39" (76cm x 99cm).
