Under the Aspens Harlequin Crochet Throw© PATTERN (English only)
The Under the Aspens Crochet Throw© is an instant download for a PDF PATTERN for a crochet blanket (NOT the blanket itself or a physical copy of the pattern!).
The pattern is written in English only and uses US terms.
Due to the nature of digital products I do not offer refunds on patterns. All sales are final.
The striking white bark and fluttering golden leaves of aspen trees set against a vibrant blue sky is the inspiration behind this pattern. This blanket is a nod to the subtle shift that starts to happen in late August and early September when the light begins to change and hint that summer is coming to a close and fall is approaching.
This blanket is made up of the beautiful Harlequin Stitch. While this is not classified as a beginner stitch, if you have a bit of crochet knowledge and a little experience under you belt and you are comfortable working basic stitches, this might be a good project to take your crochet game to the next level. Once you get the hang of it, harlequin stitch is a very fun, relaxing, meditative stitch to make. It works up quickly as well since it's a taller stitch (always a plus!). The fabric created isn't overly holey and has really lovely drape. It's also warm without feeling heavy.
The pattern is full of detailed pictures as a reference to help you as you work each row, and also contains links to a full video tutorial along with some shorter video snippets of me working the stitches.
The pattern is for one size only, but I include the stitch multiple so that if you want to adjust for a different size you can do that.
